Dublock

Aggregates

Gravel
10mm (3/8")
Description

It is a coarse aggregate, maximum size of three-eighths of an inch. It is obtained from an extraction process, and screening of river material, ensuring a proper graduation, form (cubical) and removal of all organic impurities.

Applications

Recommended for structural concrete, pumpable, prefabricated elements and general applications, where the density of steel or the dimension of the mold or structure, requires easy placement of the concrete.

Advantages

Because of its shape, weight and low absorption, it produces a mixture of concrete with lower water demand, improving performance in concrete resistance.

Lithology

Basalts, andesites.

Sand
Description

This sand is obtained from an extraction process and river material screening. It is subjected to a washing procesfor removing silt and clays.

Applications

Recommended for structural concrete, exposed, fired, prefabricated elements and plastering mortars paving laying.

Advantages

In Mixtures of concrete, it decreases cement consumption, improving efficiency and finish, and an improveperformance of resistance in the hardened concrete.

Stone
20mm (3/4)
Description

It is a coarse aggregate with a nominal maximum size of 20 mm, it is obtained from an extraction process, and screening river material, ensuring proper graduation, form (cubical) and removal of all organic impurities.

Applications

Recommended for structural concrete, prefabricated elements and general applications.

Advantages

In concrete mixtures, it avoids the problems of filling and formation of voids within the structural elements. Because of its shape and graduation, it helps improve the grading curve of the mixtures.

Stone
38mm (11/2)
Description

It is a top quality coarse aggregate, obtained from screening and washing process, to ensure grain size distribution and removal of silts and clays. Maximum nominal size 38mm.

Applications

Recommended for concrete pavements, massive concrete elements.

Advantages

In concrete mixtures, combined with an intermediate coarse aggregate and a correct dosage of sand, it increases the compressive resistance and tensile, decreasing contractions & cracking and it optimizes the cost of the concrete mix. Easy installation and download.
